Common questions

I'm a parent — how do I watch my child's match?

Ask your club or team manager to invite you. MatchReel is private by default: footage isn't public, and access is granted by the people running your team. Once invited, you'll receive an email link and can sign in with a one-time code — there's no password to remember.

How do I get access to my club's videos?

Access is managed by your club's administrators, not by us. If you believe you should have access and don't, contact your club first; if they've invited you and it still isn't working, email us and we'll sort it out.

How do I request that a video be removed?

Email hello@matchreel.com.au with "Takedown" in the subject. Tell us the club, the teams and the match date. You do not need to explain why — requests concerning a child are actioned first. See Safety & privacy for how removals work.

Who can see our footage?

Only the people your club gives access to. Video is not public, is not indexed by search engines, and is served through expiring private links rather than public URLs. The full detail is on the Safety & privacy page.

The stream dropped or the video won't play.

Most streaming issues come from the phone or camera losing its network connection mid-match. Check the device's signal, keep it on power for long games, and try reloading playback. If it keeps happening, email us with the club, the match date and roughly what time it dropped — we can look at the recording on our side.

Billing, plans and cancelling

Email us and we'll help with any billing question, including changing or cancelling your club's plan. There are no lock-in contracts.
